What do I do?
I am responsible for the strategic direction of the practice and I hope to bring energy and enthusiasm to everything I do. I have been involved in property most of my life being the son of a building contractor and I was elected to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1999. Much of my career has been spent within the Manchester offices of national commercial building consultancies. I have been involved in pretty much all service areas you would expect of a Building Surveyor, including education (University of Central Lancashire), urban regeneration and social housing matters (Arcus Consulting), dilapidations and neighbourly matters (Storeys SSP and Drivers Jonas Deloitte). More recently I have focused mainly on dilapidations and overseeing commercial refurbishments. I am a proud member of the RICS Dilapidations Steering Group.
Who am I?
Away from work I am an avid reader, enjoy keeping fit and walking my beloved German Shorthaired Pointer, Thumper. I drive a Land Rover Defender and ride a Triumph Bonneville Scrambler and am currently training to be a Mountain Leader. I am a Preston North End fan which is testament to my optimism!
