AG have recently completed the construction of a new build residential accommodation unit for a specialist independent school in West Yorkshire, providing accommodation for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
AG were appointed to provide Architectural, Contract Administration, Project Management and Principal Designer Services and worked closely with the Clients in-house team to ensure the needs and requirements were fully understood and implemented in the design and construction.
As part of the appointment, AG managed a design team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Structural Engineers and Landscape Architects to deliver the new circa £1m facility, which includes en-suite bedrooms, communal spaces, staff work areas and accommodation and external soft and hard landscaping.
The recent handover meeting focused on providing relevant information and training the Client and their team of end-users who will be occupying and managing the property.
